Ideally located in the heart of the Camargue Natural Park, south-east of the delta and 40 km from Arles, the village of Salin de Giraud is an unforgettable and timeless place at the end of the world. The former industrial and urban heritage of Les Salins is of great historical interest.

It is also worth the trip for the horses, bulls, flamingos and hundreds of species of birds that inhabit this land that has remained authentic and wild, as well as the beauty of the coast.

Piémanson beach, easy to access, is a very beautiful 6 km fine sandy beach, supervised in summer. Off the beaten tracks, the beach of Beauduc, 10km away, is a magical and unforgettable place, and world renowned for Kitesurfing and other board sports.

Also discover the Domaine de la Palissade on foot or on horseback, storytelling walks, guided bird watching tours, hiking and cycling circuits.

Go to Reg’Aline, the grocery store in the center of the village which offers regional products. Arles

Once upon a time the provincial capital of ancient Rome, it is now the capital of the Camargue. The Arena, the Romanesque theater and other Romanesque monuments have made Arles a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

City of history but also city of art, it has inspired many painters and architects of all centuries. Towered by its fortress church, the village of Saintes-Maries is built between sky and sea. You can stroll through the cobbled streets, in the shade of the typical little white houses.

From spring, major Camargue races and Corrida Flamenca keep happening in the arenas of Saintes Maries.

High place of Gardiane tradition, it hosts every year the meetings of equestrian arts around July 14th. It is also a Land of Pilgrimages for Gypsies and the brotherhood of Saintes Maries.

Avignon

Prefecture of Vaucluse, Avignon is a city of history and spectacle. The historic center of the city, the Palais des Papes, the episcopal complex and the Saint Bénézet bridge are designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Every year in July atkes place the Avignon Festival, a major international artistic festival that attracts thousands of lovers of theater, dance and street performances.

Finally, Avignon lies in the center of a very varied wine region.

Between land and sea, Marseille is a cosmopolitan and fascinating touristic city that will surpise you.

Culturally very rich you can visit the cathedral of the Major, the basilica of our Lady of the Guard, the Longchamp Palace, the Fort Saint Jean, the Old Charity, the Radiant City of Le Corbusier… The Mucem, first great museum national devoted to the civilizations of the Mediterranean, is must-see. In the heart of the Alpilles, the superb setting of this village places it among the most beautiful in France. Perched on a rocky outcrop, the citadel of this great medieval site from the 10th century dominates the natural surroundings, offering a view over the Crau plain to the sea and Sainte Victoire.

If the historical past of this fortress is very rich, the present is also interesting on the touristic level. The appellation of Les Baux-de-Provence is a symbol of quality for its wines and its olive oil, and the “Carrières de Lumières“offer unique multimedia shows on the huge walls of the former quarries.

Golfers will also be delighted by the 18-hole course in the exceptional site of Les Baux.
