Le Cabanon is located in Salin de Giraud, where three generations of my family are from.<\/p>\n

My grandfathers were from le Gard (South of France) , on my mother\u2019s side and from Indochina on my father\u2019s side; both worked in the regional salt industry during the XXth century. We are profoundly attached to this timely and unique place, for it holds many stories of Men from all walks of life and origins.<\/p>\n

In 2020, I took the opportunity to renovate my parents holiday home so that my friends and other travellers could discover this singular region of Camargue in a cosy and pleasant home.<\/p>\n

Like a \u201cCabanon marseillais\u201d, a typical small beach house in the south of France, le Cabanon de Virginie offers a place where time goes by between a game of boules, a snack on the terrasse, a good book in the garden or a small chat with the neighbours, whose parents knew mine.<\/p>\n

This village and this home bring back childhood memories of family holidays. We tried to be true to those memories while offering nowadays comfort.<\/p>\n
